Mr Slowey is a director at Visioncare and has spent 13 years working in the optical industry. He has a vast experience in all types of Optometric practices having locumed extensively across many parts of the UK. He qualified with Honours from Aston University in 2000. He has keen interest in contact lens, prescribing relishing more complicated contact lens fitting which plays an increasing part of his clinical time.
Our other director Mr McKenna qualified with Honours from University of Ulster in 2004. He has worked within the industry since 2001 and has keen interest in Low vision aids. His experience has seen him travel with his chosen profession a year of which was spent working in Jersey. Ronan has been the lead clinician in our Shantallow practice for over 6 years which has seen him develop this practice to the store it now is with a loyal local patient base.
Our ethos at Visioncare is to constantly strive to provide the best service for our customers. We encourage and provide continuous education for all of our staff who are all currently on or have recently completed training courses.
